SkyPixel is a great site to explore people’s aerial photography, videos and 360 panoramas. It also allows you to share your own creations and even pick up some shooting tips along the way. The site is full of breathtaking imagery shot by hobbyists, enthusiasts and professionals.
They have been promoting the art of aerial photography and video for two years and are running a photo contest to celebrate. SkyPixel’s 2016 Photo Contest offers you a superb platform to share your work with thousands of like minded people.
You can submit as many photos as you like from type of aerial platform, so long as they were taken in 2016. You choose to submit your entries in either the Professional or Enthusiast category. Photos submitted to the Enthusiast group must be at least 2MB in size or at least 5MB or larger for the Professional group and all at 300dpi or above.
Last entries have to be in by December 30th, 2016 with the awards and prizes being announced on January 20th, 2017.
The competition is backed by some great companies, including DJI, Epson, Insta 360 and Adobe to name a few. Prizes include the Mavic Pro, the Inspire 2, Phantom 4 Pro, the Osmo, Osmo Mobile and Insta360 Nano.
